With a career spanning over 22 years, Kinky has performed in the United States, Mexico, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Among Kinky’s multiple accolades are: 1 GRAMMY© for Best Musical Engineering, 1 GRAMMY© nomination for Best Latin Rock Group, 10 Latin GRAMMY nominations, 6 MTV VMAs nominations, 2 MTV MIAW nominations, and 1 MTV EMA nominations. They have performed at renowned festivals like Coachella, Bumbershoot, Austin City Limits, Central Park Summerstage, Outside Lands, Bang! Music Festival, Voodoo Festival, KCRW Fest, Rock al Parque, Personal Fest, Pa’l Norte and Corona Music Fest, in addition to 7x Vive Latino. Kinky has opened for international acts as big as The Flaming Lips, Cake, Modest Mouse, De La Soul, Shakira, Los Lonely Boys, Beck, Norah Jones and Vasco Rossi, and have been guests at talk shows including David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, and Craig Ferguson Show.
