ALEJANDRO FERNÁNDEZ MAKES HISTORY ONCE AGAIN, PERFORMING FOR 60,000 FANS AT ESTADIO GNP SEGUROS
EL POTRILLO RETURNED WITH HIS "DE REY A REY" TOUR TO THE SAME STAGE HE ONCE SHARED WITH HIS FATHER, VICENTE FERNÁNDEZ, 22 YEARS AGO
Miami, FL (October 6, 2025) – After an impressive summer tour across Spain and his historic shows at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas celebrating the Fiestas Patrias, Alejandro Fernández brought his “De Rey a Rey” tour to Estadio GNP Seguros, where the audience enjoyed a journey through the very best of Mexican music, performed by the most important artist in the ranchero genre worldwide.
What made the night even more meaningful is that it was on this very stage (then known as Foro Sol) that, 22 years ago, Alejandro and his father, Vicente Fernández, performed their show “Juntos por Última Vez,” an emotional event that lasted more than five hours.
That evening, as he does in every performance of this heartfelt tribute “De Rey a Rey,” Alejandro Fernández gave voice to songs that have become timeless classics: “No me sé rajar,” “Lástima que seas ajena,” “Acá entre nos,” “Volver, volver,” and “El rey.” Songs that have not only accompanied generations but have also become a deep reflection of the Mexican soul.
The night was also full of surprises. Edén Muñoz and Yuridia took the stage, sparking roaring applause from the crowd. But the most touching moment came when Alejandro introduced his daughter, Camila Fernández, to join him in performing “Fue un placer conocerte” and “Siempre estoy pensando en ti.” Visibly moved, Camila thanked her father for the opportunity to share the stage with him once again, creating one of the most heartfelt moments of the evening.

The musical journey also included songs such as “Hoy tengo ganas de ti,” “Me dediqué a perderte,” “Mátalas,” and “Como quien pierde una estrella,” along with his most recent hits, “Me está doliendo” and “Caballero,” confirming that his voice remains alive, renewed, and deeply connected to the hearts of his audience.
The energy and excitement never waned during the more than two-hour concert; on the contrary, the applause and cheers only grew louder with each song.
The artist left the stage emotional and happy to share his music with his Mexican fans, who enjoyed a world-class production that proudly elevated the name of Mexico.
“De Rey a Rey” has been one of the most important shows of the year, a performance filled with nostalgia, love, and respect for the figure who shaped Alejandro Fernández’s life and that of millions of fans around the world.

His success is also reflected on the charts and digital platforms: Alejandro is the first artist to achieve #1 albums in four consecutive decades (1990, 2000, 2010, and 2020). Since 2020, he has earned thirteen No. 1s on the Billboard Regional Mexican chart, setting a record as the solo artist with the most achievements of the decade. Additionally, he accumulates 900 million annual streams on Spotify, is part of Pandora’s Billionaires Program, and has amassed over 8 billion views on YouTube, solidifying his global reach.
More than a tribute, “De Rey a Rey” represents the artistic evolution of Alejandro Fernández, who has mastered both pop and regional Mexican music. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with over 35 international artists, including Maná, Carín León, Juan Gabriel, Julio Iglesias, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Plácido Domingo, Rod Stewart, and Alejandro Sanz.
Recognized with 4 Latin Grammys — including “Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album” in 2024 for ‘Te Llevo en la Sangre,’ his seventeenth studio album — Alejandro also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is part of the Billboard Hall of Fame, and has received the Icon Award from the Latin American Music Awards, among many other honors.
With “De Rey a Rey,” Alejandro Fernández not only honors his father’s immortal legacy but also reaffirms his own place as one of the most powerful and beloved voices in Mexican music. Each concert becomes a celebration of tradition, family, and cultural pride that have accompanied him for more than three decades, establishing El Potrillo as a true ambassador of Mexico to the world.
