After releasing ‘Prismarama,’ his most recent full-length album, León Larregui decided to reimagine this work with several of his collaborators and friends, aiming to paint a new sonic and sensory spectrum for what is considered his most intimate and personal album to date.

Under the name ‘Mixarama Vol. 1,’ Larregui introduces us to different versions of tracks from his album Prismarama, created by various artists like Poolside. As a first preview, the artists released “Amantes.” This time, the Los Angeles duo Jeffrey Paradise and Filip Nikolic used their unique dreamy pop style and beach spirit to craft a track that enchants our senses while making us move.

Throughout this and the rest of the songs, we can hear magnificent sounds that elevate each track to another level—more than just a simple remix: it’s a collaborative effort to add new hues to the sonic palette that Larregui himself has built, making these songs a sort of musical collage, a fact also reflected in the album cover.

With this, León kicks off ‘Mixarama Vol. 1,’ which promises to be one of the most stimulating compilations in the contemporary rock and electronic scene in our country.
