The song, written by Horacio Palencia, Andy Clay, and Richard Torres, and produced by Rodolfo Lugo, explores the theme of a love that comes and goes when it’s already too late, with the characteristic cumbia rhythm of the Mejía Avante brothers and Emilia’s beautiful voice.
After its release, the song reached the Top 3 on iTunes’ general chart and topped YouTube Trends in several Latin American countries, including Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, and Spain.
The video, shot in Mexico City under the direction of Christian Schmid and produced by Laura Velez (Nomad Media), tells the story of a singer trying to become the vocalist of Los Ángeles Azules, from audition to their first show together, with Emilia being chosen by the band.
Los Ángeles Azules continue to spread their music worldwide and are on tour across Mexico, Latin America, and the United States, with return dates in August, September, and October.
