How to land your dream entertainment job
If you have always known you could discover the next big regional musician like Alejandro Fernandez or Angeles Azules, or the idea of planning a USA tour would come easy to you, it’s always a good idea to submerge yourself in the entertainment industry before deciding if this is your personal calling.
The entertainment world is guided by people that their creative process allows them to collaborate with hundreds of teams and different paths which sometimes can be glamorous, and others really tough, but when art is your calling and there is no other place you would work, you can find out what your forte is and keep pursuing.
Do you need a music business degree?
Music business degree won’t guarantee hundred percent that you will be in the music industry business, but it will submerge you with all kinds of contacts, and entertainment is all about connections, it won’t be easy to connect with major label owners or promoters, but starting positions will usually be people who recently graduated from music business degrees (NYU, Berklee, UM, UCLA) or kindred.
When and how to land a job at a music industry business.
Start by defining the music that you enjoy and new genres you think will start booming next, follow rigorously top 100 on Billboard, Spotify Music, Youtube Music, viral trends and also begin to understand label music distribution, music industry contracts, independent music labels and become creative in your quest.

Have passion for what you are living day by day in the music business world, feel as if these artists are your family, remember that people skills will propel you to where you need to get, and the most important understandment is, that it is about perseverance, taking small but certain steps will help you in the production of a music management company or any position you feel drawn to in present time.
