YURIDIA AND KANY GARCÍA RELEASE “LA MALA ERA YO”
Miami, FL (February 28, 2026) – After making history as the first woman to sell out the Plaza de Toros “La México” in a 360° format, and following the success of the singles that emerged from that milestone, the Queen of Regional Mexican music, Yuridia, joins the first musical collaboration from Kany García’s upcoming album, blending their voices on “La Mala Era Yo.”
The song, an extraordinary fusion of Ranchera and Pop, approaches heartbreak with deep sincerity and intimate self-reflection, ultimately transforming it into a message of personal empowerment. In this sense, both voices, rich with emotional depth, come together to amplify the song’s narrative.
With powerful lyrics, the track reveals the inner strength that emerges after enduring multiple heartbreaks:
“Leave me alone for this moment, I just want to belong to myself.
I’m tired of loving others, it was me who didn’t love myself.
Ay, ay, ay, heart, let others cry for you, stop paying for all my mistakes, if they were right, the bad one was me.”
“La Mala Era Yo” arrives at a great moment for Yuridia, who was recently honored at Premio Lo Nuestro, winning the following categories: Mariachi/Ranchera Song of the Year for “Sin Llorar,” Best Female Collaboration for “Brujería” feat. Majo Aguilar, and Album of the Year – Mexican Music for ‘Sin Llorar.’ Additionally, she will soon be delighting fans at her upcoming shows:
