MATISSE KICK OFF THEIR ‘EL AYER’ TOUR WITH A SOLD-OUT SHOW AT THE AUDITORIO NACIONAL
Following tonight’s success, the group will have a second date at the Coloso de Reforma on June 6
Miami, FL (March 7, 2026) — On Friday night, the Auditorio Nacional set the stage for the launch of ‘El Ayer,’ Matisse’s new tour, through which the trio, Melissa Robles, Pablo Preciado, and Román Torres, reinforces their position as one of the most relevant pop groups in Mexico.
With an unprecedented stage design that captured the essence of this new era, ‘El Ayer’ kicked off with “Imposible amor,” one of their most beloved collaborations to date. Amid the euphoria of a completely packed venue, Matisse also performed “Vete, vete” and “Primer avión.”
The atmosphere at the Coloso de Reforma filled with romance, and even tears, when the group performed “Pedazos” and “Todavía,” songs that led into an intense block of ballads powered by the piano. During this moment, “Por tu bien,” “A olvidarte,” and “Por última vez” echoed throughout every corner of the venue.
This tour arrives at the Auditorio Nacional led by their self-titled album, released on February 26, which debuted under the leadership of the single “Hipotéticamente” alongside Leonel García. The song was performed live for the first time during this special night.
As part of the album and its celebration, Matisse also performed “Conmigo sin ti,” a song with Cristian Castro that quickly went viral on social media and has become one of the standout favorites from the record. The single was followed by “Aplauso,” which is also part of ‘El Ayer.’

In one of the most special moments of the tour’s opening night, Carenita, daughter of Pablo Preciado, took the stage to accompany her father, along with Melissa and Román, on piano during “Mantra.” The chemistry they shared on stage earned a standing ovation from fans in attendance.
As a surprise for the audience, and after performing the hit “Como lo hice yo,” Matisse invited Los Tucanes de Tijuana to the stage to present their collaboration “Ando bien agusto,” a song that highlighted the versatility of their style and sound.
Finally, the group closed the show with “Acuérdate de mí,” “Maldito corazón,” and “Más que amigos,” all sung in unison by the more than 10,000 people in attendance, who gathered to enjoy the nostalgia, talent, and evolution of Matisse as one of the most important pop bands in the country.

Following this resounding success, the group is preparing to perform on April 25 at Auditorio Banamex in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and to offer a second date as part of the ‘El Ayer’ tour at Auditorio Nacional on June 6.
