XIMENA SARIÑANA AND MIKEL IZAL RELEASE "N.I.T."
AN ANTHEM THAT REVALUES THE SIMPLE THINGS IN LIFE
Miami, FL (February 27, 2025) – After her successful collaboration with Rawayana and Parcels on “Leaveyourlove,” Ximena Sariñana presents “N.I.T.,“ where she joins forces with Spanish singer Mikel Izal. This highly anticipated collaboration is a radiant composition that encourages us to lighten our mental load and let go of things that don’t truly matter.
Co-written by both artists and produced by Pau Paredes and Pato Dávila, “N.I.T.” reflects a society overwhelmed by anticipation and anxiety, urging listeners to pause their minds and enjoy the present moment. The song’s title stands for “Nada Importa Tanto” (“Nothing Matters That Much”).
Mixed by Grammy-winning Mexican engineer Nacho Sotelo, the track serves as a mantra encouraging us to free ourselves from trivial worries that often consume our thoughts.
“Ximena, besides being a great artist, is a wonderful person, and everything has been incredibly pleasant working alongside her. I think that’s reflected in the song. I try to live by what we say in ‘N.I.T.’: Nothing matters that much. I hope it brings others a little more peace in their day-to-day lives and that they say ‘N.I.T.’ more often,” shared Mikel.
“Working with Mikel was a beautiful experience; it’s the first time he’s written with someone outside his circle, and I’m grateful he allowed me to share my vision for the song,” said Ximena Sariñana about collaborating with the Spanish artist.
The song was released alongside a music video filmed in Mexico City in late January, directed by Daniela Anelisse, who has earned Ximena’s trust from their previous collaborations.
The video was shot in a single continuous take at the iconic Café Gran Premio, capturing the song’s essence with a captivating visual narrative. It features spontaneous dancing as the protagonists savor simple pleasures like a cup of coffee and a good conversation, emphasizing the song’s uplifting message.
With “N.I.T.,” Mikel Izal strengthens his bond with Mexican audiences. A year ago, he kicked off his “El Miedo y El Paraíso” tour with concerts in Guadalajara and Mexico City. He will return on March 15 to perform at the Vive Latino Festival, where he previously made an impact with his band Izal in 2017.
Meanwhile, Ximena Sariñana continues to thrive at the height of her artistic career, balancing multiple roles as an actress, singer, producer, and the head of the HERA Festival, which was successfully held last year.
