FOR THE FIRST TIME, LOS ÁNGELES AZULES WILL BRING CUMBIA AND MAKE EUROPE DANCE
Miami, FL (May, 13 2024) – The world’s most iconic cumbia band, Los Ángeles Azules, are breaking boundaries and, for the first time, performing in some of the most legendary cities in the Old Continent: Madrid, Berlin, London, and Zaragoza—the latter as part of the Vive Latino festival. These cities will serve as the perfect stages for transcending borders and making cumbia a global movement.
Convinced that cumbia knows no language, but certainly knows how to win hearts, Los Ángeles Azules will embark on a tour through various European countries.
“Music is a universal language that brings people together; there’s no need to understand the lyrics—just feel the joy in your heart that spreads when you hear our cumbias. We are very happy and grateful to cross borders and bring this very special rhythm to Europe,” said Los Ángeles Azules.
This highly anticipated tour will take place this coming September, with the following dates already confirmed:
September 5 – Zaragoza (Vive Latino España)
September 6 – Madrid (Palacio de Vistalegre)
September 8 – Berlin, Germany (Uber Eats Music Hall)
September 10 – London, England (Troxy)
This major musical leap comes at a key moment for the band from Iztapalapa, following their collaboration with superstar Thalía on “Yo me lo busqué,” and historic performances at two of the most important festivals: Lollapalooza in Argentina and Vive Latino in Mexico.
Throughout their career, Los Ángeles Azules have reinvented cumbia through collaborations with prominent artists from various genres, such as Ha*Ash, Natalia Lafourcade, Juanes, Ximena Sariñana, Emilia, and María Becerra.
Their most recent collaboration with Elena Rose and Camilo, “Carteras Chinas,” is yet another example of their ongoing musical evolution and their ability to remain relevant in today’s music scene, continuing to win over new generations and reaffirming their place as one of the most influential groups in the Spanish-language music world.
