LOS ÁNGELES AZULES KICK OFF THEIR TOUR CUMBIA SIN FRONTERAS 2026
WITH AN IMPRESSIVE SHOW IN INDIANAPOLIS, THE LEGENDARY BAND WILL RETURN TO MEXICO TO PERFORM AT THE ICONIC PLAZA DE TOROS LA MÉXICO THIS JUNE 6
Miami, FL (February 13, 2026) – Los Ángeles Azules kicked off their highly anticipated Cumbia Sin Fronteras 2026 tour with a spectacular concert at the Clowes Memorial Hall in Indianapolis, Indiana, on February 12. Attendees witnessed a high-energy show that kept them dancing and enjoying the infectious rhythms of cumbia, further cementing the band’s place as the most important cumbia group in the world.
The year 2025 marked a milestone in Los Ángeles Azules’ career, as they brought their music to Europe for the first time. The Indianapolis concert opened with the classic “Entrega de amor” and continued with a series of unforgettable hits such as “Mi único amor,” “El listón de tu pelo,” “Cumbia del acordeón,” and “Cumbia del corazón,” along with new songs that have become fan favorites, including “Nunca es suficiente,” “Otra noche,” and “Amor a primera vista.” The show closed with an unforgettable performance of “17 años,” leaving the audience thrilled and with lasting memories.
In addition, attendees enjoyed a special guest: Ximena Sariñana, who joined the Iztapalapa ensemble to perform “Mis sentimientos” with them. The artist, already part of the Los Ángeles Azules family, will share the stage with the band again during their shows in St. Louis (MO), Tampa (FL), Hollywood (FL), and Orlando (FL).
The Cumbia Sin Fronteras 2026 tour will continue on February 15 at The Factory at the District in St. Louis, Missouri, with more dates scheduled throughout February and March in the United States. Additionally, the group will perform in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia, culminating in a historic show at the Monumental Plaza de Toros La México on June 6, 2026.

More than just a tour, Cumbia Sin Fronteras 2026 is a celebration of music that unites generations and crosses borders. Los Ángeles Azules reaffirm their role as global ambassadors of cumbia, promoting the blending of rhythms, cultures, and hearts through their vibrant music.
Hailing from Iztapalapa, Mexico City, Los Ángeles Azules are the foremost exponents of cumbia worldwide. Composed of the Mejía Avante brothers, the group has built a career spanning nearly 50 years, taking their music to the most iconic international stages and festivals. Evidence of this is their recent successful visit to Europe, where they caused a sensation for the first time in Spain, Germany, and London.
They have also collaborated with major artists such as Thalía, Natalia Lafourcade, Belinda, Juanes, Nicki Nicole, Ha*Ash, Carlos Vives, and Manuel Turizo. In addition, they have earned multiple awards and nominations, including GRAMMYs, Latin GRAMMYs, Premio Lo Nuestro, Billboard Awards, Latin American Music Awards, and the Hispanic Heritage Award from the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, among others. They have also ranked among the top 500 most-streamed artists on Spotify worldwide.

Los Ángeles Azules are releasing a new single, “Mi Nuevo Trauma,” a duet with Melissa Robles, the vocalist of Matisse. The song is a contemporary romantic cumbia that gives voice to the feelings and pain that remain after losing the love of your life; it also turns heartbreak into confession, portraying the deep affection that ended but still lingers in the heart of the one who loved most.
