LOS BUNKERS PRESENT THEIR ALBUM 'LOS BUNKERS - MTV UNPLUGGED' AND RELEASE THE SINGLE "QUIERO DORMIR CANSADO" FEATURING THE STELLAR PARTICIPATION OF MON LAFERTE
Miami, FL (December 18, 2024) – This Friday marks a milestone in the career of Los Bunkers as they present their MTV Unplugged album.
The album ‘Los Bunkers MTV Unplugged’ features 19 acoustic tracks, including the greatest hits of the Chilean band, such as “Miño” and “Bailando solo,” as well as the most popular songs from their latest album Noviembre, including “Bajo los árboles,” “Noviembre,” and “Calles de Talcahuano.”
Additionally, this project includes songs never before performed by the band, such as “Quiero dormir cansado,” featuring their fellow Chilean singer-songwriter Mon Laferte. This track will be promoted as a single and will be available on audio and video platforms starting Wednesday, December 18.
This project, in the classic acoustic format of MTV Unplugged, was produced by Mexican musician Emmanuel “Meme” del Real, a member of Café Tacvba, who also lent his voice for a new version of “Si estás pensando mal de mí.”
This unprecedented release for the Chilean band also marked a historic moment for MTV Unplugged, as it was the first special recorded in Chile under the direction of an external director, renowned Chilean filmmaker Pablo Larraín. Moreover, it is the first MTV Unplugged show to premiere in cinemas before being broadcast on television. The special was successfully screened in cinemas in Mexico and Chile, where it became the most successful Chilean release on its opening day, attracting six thousand viewers. To date, approximately 15,300 people have attended the screenings.
The album ‘Los Bunkers MTV Unplugged,’ available on platforms starting December 20, serves as a prelude to ‘Los Bunkers’ Acoustic Tour,’ which will kick off in Chile and includes the following confirmed dates in Mexico:
