MATISSE RELEASE “MARTES”
Miami, FL (August 15, 2025) – After the success of “Ansiedad,” a track where the band fused their talent with Grupo Arriesgado, Matisse presents “Martes,” a song that speaks about the natural process that goodbyes, breakups, and endings follow—moments we have all lived through—that not only mark the close of a cycle leaving lessons and growth, but also pain.
“Martes” is an intimate track that reflects on the meaning of growing up and falling in love as experiences that, more often than not, hurt the protagonists of those stories. Under this concept, it also touches on the longing to be a child again, to recover an innocent perspective full of hope and dreams.
The song is released alongside an official video that masterfully portrays the lyrics:
“That’s life, nobody warns you that it’s not easy, it’s not easy. Nobody is spared from having their heart broken when you least expect it—on any given Tuesday. Silence also makes noise, and no one can quiet it down. I’m overwhelmed by the thought of never hearing you again. I wish I could go back to the past, be a little girl once more. Tomorrow there’s school, and growing up doesn’t hurt yet.”
“This song talks about the cycles of life and how growing up hurts, about the wish to go back to being a child and having the innocence to see everything with hope again, to return to that feeling that everything is going to be alright, and not feel how hard it is to open yourself up to something new. To me, it feels like a very personal song—so personal that it makes me cry when I listen to it,” shared Melissa Robles.
This track makes it clear why Matisse has become one of the most beloved groups among the public and why they still have a long list of successes ahead. “Martes” is now available on all digital platforms.
