MATISSE RELEASES THE OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR “TODO A NADA,” THE SADDEST SONG FROM ‘BELLA NOSTALGIA’
MIAMI, FL (November 7, 2024) – After achieving a sold-out show at the Auditorio Nacional and amidst a successful international tour, Matisse continues to celebrate 10 years of their career with the release of the official video for “Todo a nada,” a heartbreak song from their latest album ‘Bella Nostalgia’.
According to Melissa Robles, Román Torres, and Pablo Preciado, this song reflects on those painful breakups where one person suffers more than the other, believing everything in the relationship is fine just before it ends seemingly unexpectedly.
“‘Todo a nada’ is the saddest song on the entire album. It was born after a deep conversation we had about relationships—how sometimes separations can come as a huge surprise to one of the people involved and how hard it is to not anticipate an ending,” shared Melissa Robles.
To capture the power of this song, Mexico’s most popular pop trio released an official video that portrays the essence of the lyrics, showing a couple reminiscing about the happiest moments of their relationship just before parting ways.
This video, directed by Dennys Rodríguez and filmed at Autocinema Coyote in the south of Mexico City, enhances the impact of the single with which Matisse closes the year, honoring nostalgia as a tool for healing wounds.
Following this release, now available on streaming platforms, the group continues touring Mexico with their ‘Bella Nostalgia Tour’, which traveled through the United States and will reach Europe next year.
