Today, the long-awaited release of Ha-Ash’s new album #HAASHTAG is a reality. The popular duo found how to overcome the experience of the pandemic by writing songs where they stand out performing ballads with updated lyrics and music and including different genres very much in the style of Ha-Ash. With the irreverent humor and personal touch that characterizes them, Hanna and Ashley, Mexico’s favorite sisters and recognized throughout Latin America, publish the album with which they celebrate 20 years of experience.
“It’s an album in which we went back to our roots in a very organic way”, say the sisters, “we wouldn’t like to define it in any way because, just as it has pop, it has a country part and a very rock part. It is a mixture of many things that are our entire essence… #HaAshTag!”, they add between laughs. Aaron Sterling (drummer for Taylor Swift & John Mayer) and engineer Mike Fuller (owner of Fullersound Inc, a studio that has worked with legends like the Bee Gees and current idols like Ozuna) are among the technical team on the album that Hanna co-produced.
The album includes songs that have already moved fans throughout Latin America and the United States such as “Lo Que un Hombre Debería Saber”, “Mejor Que Te Acostumbres”, “Si Yo Fuera Tú” and the intimate “Serías Tú”, now accompanied by other great songs, like the one they release with the new favorite pop artist, Kenia OS, “Mi Salida Contigo”. “The stories would not be the same without you”, they print on the physical edition of the disc. Hanna & Ashley refer to Pablo Preciado, Ale Zéguer, José Luis Roma and Edgar Barrera, among other composers who strengthened their writing, a very personal style that these singer-songwriters take to another level. With the release of the album, the duet announces its “Mi Salida Contigo” Tour with which Las Reinas del Sold Out will tour Mexico, Latin America, South America, Central America and the United States, where their hundreds of thousands of fans will once again see on stage those who , with their previous tour, “100 Años Contigo”, they surpassed more than 100 Sold Out shows. #HaAshTag will be a musical revolution and is now available on all digital platforms.
