ALEJANDRO FERNÁNDEZ PRESENTS “A MI MANERA” LIVE FROM MONUMENTAL PLAZA DE TOROS MÉXICO
A heartfelt tribute to the memory of Vicente Fernández
“I swear that these past few days I have felt a very special kind of magic because I’ve sensed my father’s presence with me on stage.” – Alejandro Fernández
Miami, FL (February 20, 2025) – With these words (addressing 50,000 fans gathered at the Plaza de Toros México last October), Alejandro Fernández introduced one of the most emotional performances ever recorded of “A Mi Manera”—the Spanish version of “My Way,” famously performed by Frank Sinatra. This new interpretation, arranged in mariachi style, comes to life thanks to the talent of this Mexican global star. Produced by Edén Muñoz, “A Mi Manera” is a live recording from Plaza de Toros in México City. Vicente Fernández frequently performed this song in his shows, making this one of the most meaningful tributes included in Alejandro Fernández’s upcoming album and tour titled: ‘De Rey A Rey.’

The highly anticipated tour, will travel across Mexico and the United States and will be atribute to the music of his late father, the legendary Vicente Fernández. The tour is acelebration of the Fernández legacy—music, family, Mexico, and the classic songs that are the soundtrack of Latino life.
For over 30 years, Alejandro has been captivating audiences across the globe. His electrifying live performances have taken him to 18 countries in North and South America, as well as Europe. In 2003, he started a beloved tradition in Las Vegas with the annual Fiestas Patrias, and to this day, he remains the highest-selling solo artist in the city, performing there for 22 consecutive years. In his native Mexico, Alejandro made history at the iconic Plaza de Toros La México, becoming the first artist ever to sell out four shows in the venue, drawing a total of over 160,000 fans. The legendary Viña del Mar Festival, the largest Latin music festival in the world, has invited him to perform four times (2001, 2006, 2015, and 2023), cementing his place among the elite.
A four-time Latin GRAMMY winner, Alejandro recently won Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album in 2024 for ‘Te Llevo en La Sangre,’ his 17th studio album. He holds a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is a member of the Billboard Hall of Fame, and has received the Icon Award from the Latin American Music Awards, among other accolades. His latest release, “No Me Sé Rajar,” reached #1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican chart—the fastest-growing genre globally—setting a new record for the most #1 hits (eleven) by a solo artist in this decade. Tonight, Alejandro Fernández will be honored at Premios Lo Nuestro 2025 with the Excellence Award, recognizing his career and contributions to Latin music and culture. He is also nominated in five categories, including Male Artist of the Year – Mexican Music.
Alejandro’s influence extends far beyond his music. He has always been a passionate advocate for others, using his platform to give back. In 2020, after the devastating hurricanes in southern Mexico, he dedicated his Latin Grammy win to the victims and donated 1,000,000 MXP to the Mexican Red Cross. The following year, he joined forces with Teleton Mexico to aid victims of Hurricane Otis in Acapulco. Alejandro’s humanitarian efforts were recognized by the US Congress in 2023 for his contributions to Mexican music, Latino culture, and his enduring impact on communities worldwide.
