MATISSE AND THALÍA GET HEARTS DANCING THROUGH HEARTBREAK WITH “ME FUI QUERIÉNDOTE”
A powerful collaboration featured on the multi-award-winning artist’s new album
Miami, FL (March 7, 2026) — Following the spectacular launch of their new ‘El Ayer’ tour with a sold-out show at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional, and the outstanding reception of their self-titled album, Matisse joins forces with one of Mexico’s most iconic artists, Thalía, for the release of “Me Fui Queriéndote.”
Co-written by Thalía alongside renowned songwriter Horacio Palencia, the track stands out as one of the key collaborations on her new album, ‘Todo Suena Mejor en Cumbia.’ In this context, the song resonates deeply with the heart while, through its rhythm, gets the entire body moving.
This standout track highlights how contemporary pop sensibility and the unmistakable style of Pablo Preciado, Román Torres, and Melissa Robles come together seamlessly in this cumbia-infused record, a genre that has long been part of Thalía’s musical journey.
“Me Fui Queriéndote” showcases one of the trio’s most remarkable collaborations to date, reaffirming their strong presence in the music scene and proving they remain as relevant as ever. These qualities are equally embodied by Thalía, who continues to hold the love of her fans through the years.
The single arrives at a pivotal moment for Matisse, who are set to captivate audiences once again with upcoming performances on April 25 at Auditorio Banamex in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and on June 6 for their second date at the iconic Coloso de Reforma.
