Miami, FL (August 22, 2025) – Ximena Sariñana released “No es igual” on September 11, a song that prepares her audience for the launch of her new EP ‘Las Cosas Simples,’ and offers a moment of calm after the intensity of her previous album ‘Rompe.’
According to Ximena Sariñana, who collaborated with Nate Campany, Marcus Andersson, and Christopher Jones on the songwriting, and with Juan Pablo Vega on production, this single “is a sonic exploration influenced by American Folk, with a special focus on lyrics and metaphor as a vehicle to convey emotions.”
“’No es igual’ is a very personal song that revisits a theme I’ve explored before: the struggle to accept myself as I am, flaws and all, especially when you’re with someone who makes you feel like you don’t belong,” the singer-songwriter explains.
This track is part of ‘Las Cosas Simples,’ her new project, which kicked off with the release of “Viendo Vemos,” a tender ballad with Caloncho full of musical sensitivity and connection.
It’s worth noting that this EP complements her previous works “Ojos Diamante” and “Rompe,” reaffirming Ximena Sariñana’s place as one of the most authentic and innovative voices in Spanish-language alternative pop.
With this release, now available on all platforms, Ximena Sariñana is gearing up for her new “Existencia Kamikaze” tour, which begins on November 14 at Teatro Metropólitan and will reach Showcenter Complex in Monterrey on November 27.
