As an actress, Ximena has appeared in series, telenovelas, and films. Her activism includes being a spokesperson for Greenpeace, WWF, Oceana, and The Young Center, as well as the first official UN Women ambassador in Mexico and Latin America.
In 2024, Ximena joined Mon Laferte’s Autopoiética Tour across 15 U.S. cities and will release her sixth album. She also launched the Hera festival in collaboration with OCESA, scheduled for August 24 at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in CDMX, featuring artists like Camila Cabello, Danna Paola, Evanescence, and Garbage.
