“SI SABES CONTAR” BRINGS TOGETHER LOS ÁNGELES AZULES, YAMI SAFDIE, AND LUCK RA
JUST HOURS AFTER ITS RELEASE, THE TRACK CLIMBED TO THE TOP OF THE MAIN CHARTS AND TRENDING LISTS ACROSS DIGITAL PLATFORMS
Miami, FL (September 26, 2025) – After their impressive performances in Zaragoza, Madrid, Berlin, and London, the world’s most important cumbia band, Los Ángeles Azules, joined forces with singers Yami Safdie and Luck Ra to release “Si sabes contar,” a rhythm-filled collaboration that captures the pain of a great love coming to an end, never to return.
“Si sabes contar” is an extraordinary fusion of the iconic style of Los Ángeles Azules, recently honored with the Leyenda Award at the BYMA 2025 and ranked among Spotify’s Top 500 most-streamed artists, with the musical magic of Argentine singers Yami Safdie and Luck Ra.
The song’s lyrics poignantly describe the end of a love: “If you know how to count, don’t count on me anymore. You will never forget me, I tell you once and for all. If you know how to count, don’t count on my kisses. This love is over for you, don’t speak to me of a return. If you know how to count, don’t count on my hands, because they will never touch you again, for I no longer love you.”
“When I started my career as a singer, one of my dreams was to collaborate with Los Ángeles Azules. Today I can check that off my list! Their lyrics have always been an inspiration for me, and doing it with my compatriot Luck Ra is a real treat. I hope everyone enjoys this song as much as we enjoyed making it,” said Yami Safdie.
“Si sabes contar” is released alongside an official video that faithfully brings the song’s lyrics to life while showcasing the magic of Los Ángeles Azules. The video features Yami Safdie and Luck Ra performing parts of the song, while the band delivers a full-throttle musical performance.
Just hours after its release, “Si sabes contar” quickly landed on the main pages of YouTube Music and Spotify, including Pura Sabrosura, Hot Now!, and Novedades de Viernes for Latin America, Colombia, and Mexico. The song also reached the Top 3 on iTunes’ Mexican Music chart.
Yami Safdie stands out in the music scene, having recently earned his first Latin Grammy nomination for “Best Pop Song” with “Querida yo.” This milestone follows her 2023 nomination for “Best New Artist” at the TikTok Awards Night.
Luck Ra is solidifying his global presence with major achievements, including his collaboration “Tu misterioso alguien”(cuarteto version), which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100, and his high-profile role as a coach on La Voz Argentina.
This collaboration arrives at a pivotal moment for the band, as they continue bringing their music to audiences worldwide with upcoming shows in the United States, Canada, Argentina, and Mexico. In Mexico City, they will perform for their fans on December 10 and 11 at the Auditorio Nacional.
