Miami, FL (October 3, 2025) – This Thursday, Ximena Sariñana released the EP ‘Las Cosas Simples,’ a project the singer-songwriter describes as “the calm after the explosion,” complementing the music from her previous EPs ‘Ojos Diamante’ and ‘Rompe.’
According to the Guadalajara native, ‘Las Cosas Simples’ features a sound rooted in Folk, Americana, and Country. The EP consists of four tracks, including the hit “No es igual,” which has already surpassed 1.6 million views on YouTube, and the collaboration with Caloncho, “Viendo vemos.”
“I worked on this EP with Santiago Casillas, the lead singer of Little Jesus, a great friend and collaborator, and with Juan Pablo Vega, who also produced other tracks on the album. We recorded it in a very intimate studio, and I’m thrilled that people can now listen to all three EPs in full before moving on to the album,” Ximena Sariñana said about the release.
The EP is led by its title track, which speaks to the desire to return to a moment of absolute simplicity. Written by Ximena Sariñana and Santiago Casillas, “Las Cosas Simples” was one of the first songs they wrote together, setting the tone for the entire EP.
Accompanying the release is a video filmed at the base of the Xitle Volcano in southern Mexico City. With this launch, Ximena Sariñana begins the final stretch leading up to her new album, which features hits such as “ALV,” “Ojos Diamante,” and “Chispa Roja.”
In addition, the singer is preparing for the kickoff of her Existencia Kamikaze tour, which will start on November 14 at Teatro Metropólitan and continue to the Showcenter Complex in Monterrey on November 27.
